Synopsis: Shoreside News involves puppetry characters that were in the short film, The Ballad of Pop and Corn. This film focuses on the story of a woman named Kara Mell who is obsessed with Fishers Popcorn. When she runs out of popcorn, she searches throughout Ocean City to find a container of Fishers that vanished in front of her own eyes. She finds it, however, it is not what she expects.

Synopsis: The Ballad of Pop and Corn is a puppetry short film that depicts the exploration of boardwalk scraps who have a newfound life. Disguised as humans to join as one, the film aims to follow the adventures of the father/son duo Pop and Corn, alongside a 3rd boardwalk escapee - Taffy. Styled as a news station broadcast, this film touches upon themes of envy, perseverance, and recognizing that wrongdoings can lead to poor fortune.
